I just received from my friend Erin, whom happens to be studying in Scotland, this link to a documentary made in Canada about the American Media. It's amazing how I'm the last to find out things, despite living in the 'States.
It's made by the CBC for a program entitled "The Fifth Estate," and it was really quite excellent. Although it clocks in at around 40 minutes, I was lured in and just watched the whole thing. I'd recommend watching a few minutes and see what you think.
Now, as for what the documentary is about - the central theme hovers around the American political divide and how the American media is changing. From Dan Rather to Richard Nixon, and Bill O'Reilly to Al Franken, this documentary certainly hits close to home.
