Archive.org has a fun little toy on their site called the Wayback Machine. You type in a site and it gives you any archives it has of that site from different points in time. For instance, this is what yahoo.com looks like now (on it's 10th anniversary), but what did it look like on Feb 8, 1999 or Oct 17, 1996?
The Internet Archive is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public.
I was curious as to how CNN.com had changed, so I looked at their archive from 2000. While the overall look and feel hasn't changed much, the headline sure has. "Clinton says Democrats hold keys to bright future."
