Looking up for the Bush Administration

Things are starting to improve for the Bush administration and Republicans in federal politics. I opened Yahoo News today and looked at Reuters under the Politics section...here are the top four stories:

Bush defends Miers nomination, noting her religion

Am I the only one that has noticed that President Bush now spends the majority of his time defending himself, his choices, and his administration? But I said there was good news...and here it is: He only has 3 years, 3 months, and 9 days of lame-duckness left.
