In not entirely shocking news, Apple unveiled the new video ipod. Sporting two models, the 30GB and 60GB priced at 299 and 399 clams, respectively, Apple appears poised to take the market completely for the forseeable future. Dang, I remember when 5GB was big for a high-end PC.
In related news, while a little more suprising but not unexpected as there needs to be a platform to interface the new hardware (and new video sales), Apple announced itunes 6. New features include purchasing recent episodes of popular tv shows. Wasn't itunes 5 just recently released? Go and get the new version, but if it's like itunes 5, you may need to roll back.
