Finally Geedub did something about the possible onslaught of the avian flu - he asked for 7.1 billion dollars to prepare the country.
1. Thanks for finally getting around to this. You really are slow at getting around to things that actually matter (possible pandemics, hurricane relief, firing those public servants that commit crimes while working at the White House). But I'm glad you rushed to appoint Alito quickly so that the press would ignore the Libby indictment. Good work.
2. And now where do you propose we are going to get 7.1 billion dollars from IF YOU KEEP CUTTING TAXES WHILE INCREASING SPENDING? Despite what you've read in children's books, there aren't "magical money trees." Here's a piece of advice - stop cutting taxes while simultaneously spending loads of money we don't have on stupid and horrible things.
