Uh oh.
It looks like our baseballers have been hanging out with both our basketballers and hockey, um, guys.
My guess is that the thrill of representing one's country in competition with the world has now officially taken a backseat to making lots of greenbacks.
Hmmm. Maybe there is correlation between our international sports with the state of our country (which isn't very good in recent times). I mean, in 1992, when the country was about to be handed over to a Democrat, our basketball team was the biz-omb (see: USA 116, Angola 48). The same thing happened in 1996, too. So, the key to returning to international sports glory is easy - we just need to elect more Democrats (here's a good one), get the country back in line, and then go whoop some tail.
