"Majority rule don't work in mental institutions."
I've been spinning a NoFX album realeased in 2003 quite a bit as of late - "The War on Errorism." Yes, it's terrible to admit, but I've been into punk rock for a long time (heck, I love Fat Wreck Chords and really respect FatMike'sactivism) but haven't ever really delved into NoFX's catalogue. There goes my street cred (hah, like I ever had any of that).
Anyway, the album isn't sonically groundbreaking, but the lyrical content is quite entertaining and the music loud and proud. And just a tad bit political.
You've gotta love those punk rockers. I just can't believe how I didn't really get into these guys earlier. I mean, just look at some of their song titles: "There's no Fun in Fundamentalism" "Everything in Moderation (Especially Moderation)" "American Errorist (I Hate Hate Haters)" "We Threw Gasoline On The Fire And Now We Have Stumps For Arms And No Eyebrows" "Clams Have Feelings Too (Actually They Don't)" "You Drink You Drive You Spill"
