Hmmm..
No wonder why there aren't any hipsters in Green Bay. It's because they are illegal under city ordinance.
29.403 - REGULATION OF BICYCLE OPERATION
(3) STUNT RIDING. No rider of a bicycle shall practice any fancy or acrobatic riding or stunts while operating such bicycle.
Assuming that hipsters (by the way, read that link) are issued fixed gear bikes at birth, and, assuming that fixed gear bikes would be deemed "fancy" by Green Bay locals, there is no way to use one here, as that would be "fancy...riding" outlawed under the above ordinance. My guess is that there is an entire wing in the city jail filled with people wearing tight clothing, enormous sunglasses, and scraggly beards.
By the way, for you legal nerds, isn't that ordinance just a *touch* vague to be enforceable?
And heck, even if they simply rode a normal bike (which would be sacrilege, btw), they can't even rock their Devotchka on their Nanos:
(15) HEADPHONES PROHIBITED. No bicycle operator shall wear headphones or earphones covering both ears while operating a bicycle.
