Yay Bucky.

I'm confused. How in the world did the running back heavy, offensive lineman focused University of Wisconsin football program end up producing some of the best wide receivers in the NFL (ONE and TWO). Additionally, how did we end up with many of our mediocre QBs in the pros? (ONE and TWO).

I guess the real question is, if these players end up becoming stars in the NFL (see Evans and Chambers), how in the world did we not develop them into collegiate stars? I understand that we were a running team, but this feels a lot like another UW team that seemingly wasted boatloads of talent. (yes, Heatley and Reinprecht were stars at UW, but our teams never got very far during their tenure.). Hmmm.

In other news, congrats to Bret Bielma for earning Big Ten Coach of the Year honors, and P.J. Hill, Joe Thomas, and Jack Ikegwuonu for being named first-team All-Big Ten.
