If you are a criminal in Texas, a new state law now allows anyone to shoot you.
The law extends a person's right to stand their ground beyond the home to vehicles and workplaces, allowing the reasonable use of deadly force, the governor's office said.
"A reasonable use of deadly force," is anything reasonable in Texas? It even gets better...
The law also provides civil immunity for a person who lawfully slays an intruder or attacker in such situations.
In other words, you are doing the state a favor by "executing" a perp on the spot, so as the state doesn't have to go through the whole lengthy drawn out court system and inevitable death row sentence. Plus, you get immunity. But, seeing that all Texans are God-fearing Christians aren't they forgetting their ten commandments? Or do those not apply in Texas?
