Heard on headline news today that Fox has censored out Peter Griffin's butt on the show "The Family Guy", which is of course a cartoon. They did it for fear of the recent harshness of the FCC. There is something wrong with that.
Also, I found funny, Fox said that ratings for American Idol "May Drop". No crap, its semi-talented people singing not so good songs...for the fourth season. I hate American Idol and all it stands for (i.e. the music industry flaunting that they can take anyone they want to and make them into a pop music star, no matter what talents they may of may not have).
Re Family Guy, I heard that the SAME exact episode already aired several years ago, but *un-edited*. Ever since that damn Janet Jackson malfunction, it's been great to see how afraid the networks are. And the reason why networks are self-editing? Because of ONE activist group that is generating 99% of all FCC complaints. Awesome. I think we should start a group and write letters saying that most reality TV is offensive to us, and maybe the networks will respond and get rid of those shows.
