Boy, it sure seems like Apple sure wants to maintain market dominance with their line of iPod music players. As of this morning, Apple has now launched four new variations of the iPod - two new photo-capable iPods along with two new iPod minis, each holding 4 or 6 gigs of songs.
So what you say? In this latest release, Apple has added features and lowered the price. The photo iPod can now connect directly to digital cameras for handy storage, the players have extended battery life (finally!) and all of the models have lower prices.
Apparently these aggressive moves are paying off - a recent study has estimated that 11 percent of America owns an iPod or other MP3 device.
Zoinks. Now I just need to get one. Any sugar mamas/daddys in the house? (I'm not fussy)
