It's a Friday link explosion!
You know, sometimes there are moments in life that reaffirm your belief in something you've invested yourself in. Like when a golfer, after spending countless hours chipping, practicing long putts and proper swing technique, finally gets a hole-in-one and realizes his/her hard work paid off. It's those moments of zen that really make life fantastic.
I had one of those moments today. I've spent countless hours in my life scouring the internet, reading music 'zines, listening to rare b-sides and perusing the aisles of record stores to find the best music on the planet. And sometimes, you discover something so amazing that it makes you smile.
This music video by Grandaddy is simply fantastic. While I am fairly ambivalent about the actual song, this music video is great. It combines lots of people in animal suits, the outdoors, and synchronized dances. It re-affirms my quest to find things like this.
Ahhh, I'm refreshed.
