Festivus for the Healthy
I was pleased to find out I have moved to a not-so-healthy state. Althought, sweet-home Wisconsin is ranked the 10th healthiest state, my current home of Tennessee is ranked the 47th healthiest state. Hurting TN was the fact that over a quarter of the state's population smokes and their high rate of cardiovascular disease...shocking."Since 1990, America is a healthier place. The bad news: since the year 2000, we've made very little progress. The health of the nation has become stagnant," [Dr. Reed Tuckson, senior vice president of the United Health Foundation] said.
