Legs o' plenty

I came across this article on Fark. A seven leg deer was found near Fond du Lac.

Best part of the story besides the guys beard?...

I wonder if this guy has offspring.

how can they taxidermy it now that it's been run over, gutted, and skinned? i'm terribly confused. and the "appendages" have been cut off- the guy's holding the severed limbs in his hands! comment by  Anonymous, 12/14/2006 3:20 PM

Kar - taxidermy often works by stretching the skin/fur over a plastic/foam body form. So here, someone would have to assemble a body with the proportions (and seven legs in all the right places), and then the skin would be stretched over it / attached. I'm pretty sure they could sew the skin panels back together and make it look "real." Delicious! I just hope it doesn't end up looking like this. comment by  brian, 12/15/2006 2:57 AM
